West Michigan Yarn Quest was a success! We had so much fun visiting with everyone and sharing each other's yarn adventures. Thank you to everyone who stopped by K&S last week. We are so grateful for your support, enthusiasm and creativity.

Heritage Breeds Week

Livestock Conservancy International Heritage Breeds Week begins and as promised here's more about it, but where to start?? I believe conservancy is in our DNA as Michiganders which plays nicely with Heritage Breed Conservation. The Livestock Conservancy asks that we Share, Advocate and Celebrate the Heritage Breeds. There is so much information it would be hard for me to list it all here.  You definitely NEED to go to their website to see for yourself. Livestockconcervancy.org You'll discover all kinds of information about the various heritage breeds and why conservancy of them is important. If you want to start or add to your herd, there's a link to the directory and a search generator so you can find the species and breed of animal you're looking for. If you want to purchase product there is a link to Marketplace. Happy Birthday Club

Word on the street is that the month of June is Birthday Month around here and there are lots of plans being made! Mark your calendar because you won't want to miss June 10, 2023! We will be under the canopy knitting for Worldwide Knit in Public Day, plus we are celebrating Knit & Spin turning 5! With the added bonus of Leanne rolling out the Birthday Club for you! Each month we will have a birthday party to celebrate your birthdays! You'll receive a gift card to use in the shop during your birthday month and a special invitation to the party where you'll be the guest/s of honor. You'll want to bring a friend to share your day with. Be sure to have your name added to the Birthday Club by providing your birthdate and email address to K&S. You'll have to hurry if you were born in June!! Whew, gotta catch my breath in case I need to help blow out any of the candles.
